Zoe Gilbert is the winner of the Costa Short Story Award 2014. Her first novel, Folk, was published by Bloomsbury in 2018, and her stories have appeared in anthologies and journals worldwide. She is completing a creative writing PhD focusing on folk tales in contemporary fiction, and is the co-founder of London Lit Lab, where she teaches and mentors writers.
