Sara Cleto and Brittany Warman are folklorists, authors, and teachers. They both completed their PhDs in English and Folklore at the Ohio State University in 2018. Their dissertations explored disability and folklore (Sara) and the Gothic aesthetic and fairy tales (Brittany) in nineteenth-century British literature. They have written for the academic journals Marvels and Tales, Supernatural Studies, Gramarye, and others, and their work has appeared in numerous books. They are the co-founders of The Carterhaugh School of Folklore and the Fantastic where they teach courses on fairy tales, creative writing, mythic adaptation, and more.
