Austin worked for two decades in theatre and television before becoming a full time writer. Austin's fiction, for both children and adults, has been published in Aquila Magazine, Dark Tales, Scribble, The Criminal Class Review, Unsettling Wonder, Stupefying Stories, Quarter Reads, The Young Explorer’s Adventure Guide, SQ Magazine, The Guardian and many other places.
