Donna is an Irish museum archaeologist and material culture historian who researches the archaeology of ritual and magic, and has a specific interest in witchcraft, fairy belief, and apotropaic and deliberately concealed objects. She is also particularly interested in the re-use and interpretation of archaeological artefacts and monuments in folklore, and has a love of myths, fairytales, and legends.
